Terms & Conditions
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
A deposit of at least $750 is required at the time of booking. We accept payment via credit card, ACH, or wire transfer for your payment in full, but we do offer payment plans through our merchant partners YouLi & Stripe. The balance is due at least 90 days before departure or an established due date (if listed). If your reservation is made within 90 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation. The deposit is required in order to confirm your booking. Upon receipt of the deposit, a group leader will send you confirmation of your booking. Your final payment date will be listed on the confirmation. If the trip is already full, we will accept deposits on a standby basis.
Quoted group trip prices are per person, double occupancy except where indicated. Prices include programming, planning, handling, and operational charges and are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes in effect at the time of publication. We reserve the right to increase Tour prices to cover increased costs, tariffs, taxes, and V.A.T. received after prices are published and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. We will not give a breakdown in the price of a Tour or its parts.
Exclusions: Quoted Tour prices exclude: trip insurance; airfares between points on the Tour; and other transportation to and from the group's planned activities (unless otherwise noted); costs associated with obtaining passports or entry visas; airport departure taxes (unless otherwise noted); excess baggage charges; gratuities to the Tour directors, drivers and guides; meals other than those specified in the Itinerary; sightseeing not included in the Itinerary; and personal expenses such as laundry, communication charges and optional activities (which are subject to availability).
CANCELLATION & INSURANCE
Your deposit is non-refundable. In the event you are unable to travel due to unforeseen circumstances, we highly recommend travel insurance to cover any cost associated with a canceled trip. Your decision not to participate in the group trip due to fear of travel, illness or any other reason will be deemed a cancellation. If a flight or other delay for any reason prevents you from joining the group on the departure date and time, you will be considered a no-show, and we cannot provide a full or partial refund or credit toward a future Tour, but you may join the Tour late if you wish. Adjustments will not be made for unused sightseeing trips or meals. Any questions about what travel insurance does or does not cover should be addressed directly to the travel insurance company. We do not sell insurance, but we recommend Allianz Travel Insurance: https://www.allianztravelinsurance.com/
Cancellation by You: We must receive your cancellation notice in writing by email, fax or overnight courier, and your cancellation date will be the date on which we receive your notice.
-
If we receive your cancellation notice before February 14, 2022, we will refund any installment payments made, less the initial deposit, to the extent that you have made that payment.
-
If we receive your cancellation notice on or after March 16, 2022, we will retain one hundred percent (100%) of the Tour price.
-
Any penalty imposed by an airline, including for airline service between points on the Tour (“Internal Air”) or travel to or from the Tour, is your responsibility.

CHANGES
The Global Intent reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it to make such alterations in the itinerary or with the tour inclusions as it deems necessary or desirable and to pass on to tour members any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control. Itineraries and arranged sightseeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond The Global Intent/Affinity Travel Group control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued.

AIR TRANSPORTATION
The Global Intent will not accept any responsibility for mistakes or errors in airfare bookings made by independent third parties. The traveler’s confirmed travel itinerary will have detailed tour information, and it is up to the traveler to ensure the correct arrival and departure flight information from the tour start and end cities. The independent agent will arrange the best-priced airfare available in the class category you request at the time of your booking. Please note that certain airfares are subject to a service fee. Should you cancel or change your air reservation before or after your departure, cancellation penalties may apply.

The limitations of liability are contained on the reverse side of the airline ticket and form part of the terms and conditions of this package. The Global Intent reserves the right to make alterations to the tour's itinerary and to substitute hotels, vehicles, ships, or activities if this is required. The Global Intent reserves the right to cancel, delay, or reschedule any tour prior to departure, and, so long as this is not due to any of the aforesaid causes beyond our control, the passenger shall be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid to that point if he/she so desires, less any non-refundable deposits or uncollectible expenses incurred.
In addition and without limitation, The Global Intent is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.
